Columbo fans will recognize him as the more prolific member of the writing team behind Mrs. Melville. Yes, Martin Milner played Jim Ferris, in Murder by the Book.

Milner was born on December 28th, 1931 in Detroit, MI. Beyond Adam-12, Milner had a busy acting career that included the popular show Route 66 in the 1960s.

He passed away September 6th, 2015.

Lew Ayres was born on December 28, 1908. In Columbo, he appears in Mind Over Mayhem as Dr. Howard Nicholson — the brilliant scientist whose discovery puts him on a collision course with a killer who can’t afford to let the truth come out.

Farewell to Jacques Aubuchon

Born on October 30th, 1924 in Fitchfield, Massachusetts, Jacques Aubuchon is best known to Columbo fans as publisher Jeffrey Neal, who was on the verge of getting best-selling author Alan Mallory to join his publishing house in Publish or Perish.

He had a busy career, with well over 100 credits including Starsky and Hutch and Hart to Hart.

He passed away December 28th, 1991 of heart failure.
