She played actress Lillian Stanhope in Season 2's Dagger of the Mind.
She was born August 22nd, 1925 in London, England. Prior to playing a killer on Columbo she was Catherine Gale on The Avengers and Pussy Galore in the James Bond movie Goldfinger.
She passed away on April 5th, 2020 in East Sussex, England at the age of 94.
And Happy Birthday Alma Beltran
Another Columbo performer born on August 22 was Alma Beltran, born in 1919.
Beltran actually appeared in the series twice. In Double Exposure, she plays Dr. Bart Keppel’s housekeeper, and in A Friend in Deed she appears as Mrs. Fernandez.
Her television career stretched well beyond the series; she had over 100 acting credits and she may be best remembered as Mrs. Fuentes on Sanford and Son.
Beltran died in 2007 at the age of 87.
