Outside of Columbo he's known for his roles in several films and TV shows. Some of his notable works include "Ghostbusters II" (1989), "Priest" (2011), and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (2009).

Steven Meigs Ford, born on May 19, 1956, in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, is best known to Columbo fans as Toby Ritt, Congressman Mackey's aide in Agenda for Murder.

Outside of Columbo Ford has appeared in minor roles in a number of films and television series, including "Escape From New York", "Babylon 5: In the Beginning", "Armageddon", "Black Hawk Down", "Starship Troopers", "When Harry Met Sally...", "Heat", "Contact", and "Transformers".

Fun fact: He is the youngest son of former U.S. President Gerald Ford and former First Lady Betty Ford!

Ford's career in entertainment began with the film "Grease" (1978) as Tom Chisum, but he dropped out before filming began due to stage fright. He then joined the cast of "The Young and the Restless" in 1981, creating the role of Private Investigator Andy Richards. He was a regular member of the cast from 1981 to 1987 and briefly from 2002 to 2003.

In addition to his acting career, Ford serves on the board of trustees for the Gerald R. Ford Foundation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has never been married.
