Happy Birthday to Richard Libertini!
Richard Joseph Libertini was born May 21, 1933 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and graduated from Emerson College in Boston.
His first film appearances were in "The Night They Raided Minsky's" (1968), "Don't Drink the Water" (1969), and "Catch-22" (1970). He played memorable roles in comedies such as "Fletch" (1985), where he played the doubting editor of Chevy Chase's character, and "The In-Laws" (1979), where he portrayed an insane Latin American dictator.
Columbo fans will best know him for his slightly cringey performance as Sheik Yarami in Ashes to Ashes.
