Happy birthday Dana Anderson

Dana Anderson, born Dana Suzanne Andersen on May 29, 1963, in Artesia, CA gained prominence with her role in "The Karate Kid" (1984) and later appeared in "Outbreak" (1995) and "American Playhouse" (1980). 

Columbo fans know her as Dori, the perky assistant to Dr. Paula Hall in Columbo Goes to the Guillotine.
 

Dana has been married to William Schreiner since June 9, 1984, and they have three children together.

Happy birthday Karen Maruyama

Born on May 29, 1958 she's an actress and comedienne. Maruyama has appeared in supporting roles in a variety of sitcoms, including "The Jamie Foxx Show," "Strip Mall," "Suddenly Susan," and "Arrested Development." She's been a featured guest on both the American and British versions of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" as well as being a member of the renowned improv group, The Groundlings.

In addition to her television work, Maruyama has had roles in films such as "The American President" (1995), "The Bucket List" (2007), and "The Campaign" (2012). She also showcased her voice acting talents in video games and animated series, including "Blade Runner" and "The Simpsons." Beyond acting, Karen has been part of The Jim Henson Company's live stage show "Puppet Up! - Uncensored," which has toured internationally.

Columbo fans will remember her as Tony Galper's hotel maid in Columbo Likes the Nightlife.

Best known to Columbo fans as Martha Lamarr, wife of conniving Uncle Leon, in Death Hits the Jackpot.
