Happy birthday to Columbi Nate Esformes! Born as Nathan Esformes on June 29, 1932, in New York City, he is best known for his roles in "All the President's Men" (1976), "Battle Beyond the Stars" (1980), and "Invasion U.S.A." (1985).

Columbo fans will recall him as Hakim, the guard whose rifle jammed in A Case of Immunity.

Unfortunately, Nate Esformes passed away on June 19, 2013, in Los Angeles, California.
