Born on July 20, 1924, in Akron, Ohio. She is best known for her role as Edie Hart in the television series "Peter Gunn," which earned her an Emmy nomination. Her acting career spanned over three decades, and she appeared in numerous films and television shows.

Best known to Columbo fans as blackmailing TV producer Clare Daley from Fade in to Murder. She made Ward Fowler (William Shatner), then blackmailed him, and was eventually murdered by him.


Beyond Columbo

Albright's film credits include "Champion" (1949), where she starred alongside Kirk Douglas, and "The Tender Trap" (1955) with Frank Sinatra. In addition to acting, Albright had a passion for music and released a music album titled "Lola Wants You" in 1957.

Lola Albright passed away on March 23, 2017.
