Happy birthday to Jeff Goldblum! Some of you are thinking...wait, Jeff Goldblum was in Columbo!?? Yes, he appears very briefly as one of the "fanatics" protesting outside the Suarian ligation in A Case of Immunity.
Born on October 22, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he's known for his distinctive charisma, quirky screen presence, and unique delivery. Goldblum’s career spans more than four decades, during which he has appeared in a wide range of film genres, including blockbuster hits and critically acclaimed projects.
Goldblum gained early attention with supporting roles in Nashville (1975) and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978). His breakthrough came with David Cronenberg's 1986 film The Fly, in which his portrayal of a scientist transforming into a monstrous creature earned him widespread acclaim. He became a household name in the 1990s, starring in major box-office hits such as Jurassic Park (1993) and Independence Day (1996), solidifying his status as a leading actor in Hollywood.
