Happy Birthday Nick Dennis

Actor Nick Dennis was born April 26, 1904, in Thessaly, Greece. Columbo fans will spot him in Blueprint for Murder as the security guard who gives the Lieutenant a little trouble at the construction site. 

Outside of Columbo, Dennis had a strong career in film and television, appearing in classics like A Streetcar Named Desire, East of Eden, Spartacus, and Birdman of Alcatraz. He passed away in Los Angeles on November 14, 1980.

Remembering Jonathan Demme

Director Jonathan Demme died on April 26, 2017, at the age of 73. Long before The Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia, Stop Making Sense, and his Oscar-winning Hollywood career, Demme directed one of the tastiest entries in the Columbo canon: Murder Under Glass.
