Happy Birthday Celeste Yarnall
Actress Celeste Yarnall was born July 26, 1944, in Long Beach, California. Columbo fans may remember her as Gloria in Ransom for a Dead Man. It's a very small part, so small in fact that I haven't yet found a decent screenshot of her in the episode.
Outside of Columbo, Yarnall enjoyed a varied career in film and television. She is particularly remembered as Yeoman Martha Landon in the original Star Trek episode “The Apple” and for appearing opposite Elvis Presley in Live a Little, Love a Little. Her credits also included The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, Bewitched, Bonanza, Hogan’s Heroes, The F.B.I. and The Velvet Vampire.
She passed away October 7th, 2018 at the age of 74 of ovarian cancer.
