Remembering Valerie Harper
Valerie Harper passed away on August 30th, 2019, at the age of 80.
Best remembered as Rhoda Morgenstern on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spin-off Rhoda, Harper made one memorable appearance on Columbo. She played Eve Babcock in 1972's The Most Crucial Game.
Eve is the young woman Columbo tracks down after finding her telephone number among murder victim Eric Wagner's belongings. She's working for private investigator Ralph Dobbs and isn't particularly thrilled when the Lieutenant comes calling.
Harper went on to win four Emmy Awards for playing Rhoda Morgenstern. She died in Los Angeles
