Remembering Valerie Harper
Valerie Harper passed away on August 30th, 2019, at the age of 80.
Best remembered as Rhoda Morgenstern on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spin-off Rhoda, Harper made one memorable appearance on Columbo. She played Eve Babcock in 1972's The Most Crucial Game.
Eve is the young woman Columbo tracks down after private investigator Ralph Dobbs admits she was the one who planted the bugs. She isn't particularly thrilled when the Lieutenant comes calling....and he quickly discovers her real name isn't Eve Babcock.
Harper went on to win four Emmy Awards for playing Rhoda Morgenstern. She died in Los Angeles
