Happy Birthday Richard Drout Miller
Actor Richard Drout Miller was born September 18, 1939, in Trenton, New Jersey. Columbo fans may remember him—if they’re particularly eagle-eyed—as the first reporter in The Most Dangerous Match, the 1973 episode starring Laurence Harvey as chess champion Emmett Clayton. Miller was credited on the episode simply as Drout Miller.
His other television credits included appearances on Emergency!, The Rockford Files and The Streets of San Francisco. Miller died in 2001 at the age of 61.
