Usually listed among the most attractive Columbo guest stars, she was born on October 13, 1976, in Jensen Beach, Florida. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a model at the age of 15, spending a summer in Japan. At 17, she moved to New York City to pursue acting, studying under several acclaimed coaches and mastering the Meisner technique.

In 2003, Jennifer Sky appeared as Vanessa Farrow in Columbo Likes the Nightlife, the final episode of Columbo. 


She plays an actress who accidentally kills her mobster ex-husband, Tony, in a struggle, then goes along with it when her hustler boyfriend covers it up.

Beyond Columbo

Sky gained recognition for her role as Sarah Webber on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital (1997–1998). She further established her presence on television with notable roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997), Xena: Warrior Princess (1999), and as the titular character in the sci-fi series Cleopatra 2525 (2000–2001). Her other TV appearances include Fastlane (2002), Charmed (2003), and CSI: Miami (2004–2005).

Beyond her acting career, Sky has been an outspoken advocate for better working conditions in the modeling industry, drawing from her own experiences. She has written for her hometown newspaper, The Stuart News, and published an op-ed in The New York Times in 2013, highlighting the stark differences between the modeling and acting industries.

Sky was married to Alex Band, lead singer of The Calling, from 2004 to 2009. Despite facing severe health challenges, she continues to be active in her advocacy work and remains a respected figure in the entertainment industry.

Happy birthday Greg Evigan

Greg Evigan, born on October 14, 1953, in South Amboy, New Jersey, is best known for his starring roles in popular television series during the late 1970s and 1980s. Evigan first gained attention for his role as B.J. McKay in the hit action-comedy series B.J. and the Bear (1978-1981), where he portrayed a trucker traveling with his pet chimpanzee. He later found success as Joey Harris in the sitcom My Two Dads (1987-1990), playing one of two men raising a teenage girl.

Evigan's career started on the stage, with Broadway roles in Jesus Christ Superstar and Grease, where he played Danny Zuko. He continued to build his television career with roles in shows such as Masquerade and P.S. I Luv U. In the 1990s, he starred in the science-fiction series TekWar, playing Jake Cardigan, a character based on the novels by William Shatner.

Columbo fans will know him best as conniving nephew Harold McCain in A Bird in the Hand. He thinks he's hustling Aunt Dolores, but she gets the better of him.
